Skypedates

Der Fragenkatalog ist umgezogen und hat nun endlich seine eigene Unterseite 😄. (Hier war er vorher mit allen Infos und Tipps zum Matching.) Also los gehts und ganz viel Spaß beim skypen (auch wenn man immer sehr aufgeregt ist, ich fand das Matching am besten vom Bewerbungsprozess).


Meine Must-asks

Einige Fragen muss man einfach stellen, einige sind einem selbst einfach wichtig. Und deshalb liste ich hier mal meine Fragen auf, die ich meistens direkt beim ersten Skypedate gefragt habe, wobei die meisten Antworten dazu auch schon im Profil oder in der E-Mail aufgeschrieben waren oder die Eltern mir das vorher schon von sich aus erzählt haben.

  • What would a day/week look like for me?
  • What are you looking for in an au pair?
  • Do you have cameras inside or outside the house?
  • How much am I involved in your family life?
  • Do I have a curfew? (Curfew = Ausgangssperre, also die Zeit, zu der ihr zurück sein solltet)

Tipps

  • Lernt unbedingt alle Leute kennen, die mit im Haus leben, denn ihr müsst ein Jahr lang mit denen unter einem Dach leben, selbst wenn sie nur selten zu Hause sein sollten.
  • Skypt mit den Kindern und lernt sie kennen. Wirklich, tut es einfach.
  • Stellt alle Fragen, die ihr habt, um die Familie so gut wie möglich kennenzulernen und mögliche Probleme später zu vermeiden.
  • Macht eventuell eine Liste mit Fragen, die euch besonders wichtig sind.
  • Hört auf euer Bauchgefühl, das Gefühl sollte auf jeden Fall stimmen.
